Bells Kalamazoo Stout

A full-bodied stout with plenty of roast flavor. Kalamazoo Stout is an American style stout that stands at 6.0% abv. that pours thick dark black color, nice lasting tan head, leaves a perfect lace, aroma of chocolate, coffee and nutmeg. Thick and creamy full mouth feel, coffee and sweet chocolate taste, this may be my favorite stout, its hard to stop at just one. Kalamazoo Stout is available year round, leading the Bells brewery’s vast portfolio of stouts.

Tröegs Tröegenator Doublebock

The Tröegenator Doublebock, is a dark, strong lager (8.2% abv). It pours into a glass with a bronze to brown color, fluffy white head and bready malt aroma. The Tröegenator leaves a rich, warming feeling and subtle spicy flavors. The style, Double Bock, dates back a century or so ago. During periods of fasting without solid foods, the Monastic brewers relied on the double bock; a stronger, richer beer to fulfill their basic nutritional needs. Known to them as "liquid bread," a double bock has a strong malt aroma and chewy rich body. Traditionally these brewers ended the name of their double bock with the suffix "ator", ex. Celabrator, Illuminator, Subliminator... In the spirit of the tradition we give you the Tröegenator to provide warmth and richness through the early spring months. A double bock of epic proportions, beware, the Tröegenator is deceiving smooth and delicious.

Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald

Great Lakes’ Edmund Fitzgerald is a complex roasty porter with a bittersweet chocolate-coffee taste and bold hop presence. This beer is your standard American style stout standing at 5.8% abv. Named after the ship that frequently docked in Cleveland and sunk in Lake Superior on November 10, 1975 with many Northeast Ohioans on board.

Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Stout

Like Hunter S. Thompson, whom this beer is named after, this beer is deep and complex. Gonzo Imperial Porter has been brewed with black, chocolate and crystal malts, and hopped with Millennium and Cascades. This is a turbo-charged version of the Road Dog Porter and at 7.8% ABV it will bite you in the butt if you don't show it the proper respect.

Harpoon Winter Warmer

When you bring a glass of this dark copper ale to your lips to take your first sip you will notice the aroma of cinnamon. There is no aromatic hop added that might overpower the distinct spice scent.  The medium body of this beer is formed from caramel and pale malts. These create enough body to support the spices without making the beer excessively rich. Bittering hops are added to counter the sweetness of the malt and spice. The finish of the beer is a blend of cinnamon and nutmeg. The combination of these two spices results in a balanced, pumpkin-pie flavor.
