WALT CHURCHILL’S MARKET DONATION REQUEST

 

Giving Guidelines:

Walt Churchill’s Market believes in getting involved and making a difference in our communities!  We’re committed to improving the lives of our customers and our employees in every way we can.

While we try to help out as many folks as possible, we can’t meet everyone’s needs.    Also, since our giving budget is limited and we review numerous requests each and every day, we can only focus on those donations that we feel will have the most impact in our communities.  

Eligibility Requirements:

  • All programs and organizations requesting funding must be a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt  community based organization.
  • Organizations must be located within Walt Churchill Market areas of operations.
  • Requests must be made 30 days prior to the event or it will not be considered.

Also, we’re sorry, but our charities of choice typically do not include:

  • Individuals
  • Non-Local Organizations
  • Taxpayer -Supported Institutions
  • Political Organizations, Campaigns or Issues
  • Institutions which by virtue of their charters, programs or policies, are open to a small or restricted segment of the public, such as fraternal or religious organizations, except those that make their services fully available to the community on a nonsectarian basis.
  • Sponsorships of fundraising events or golf tournaments
  • Athletic events or sports teams
  • Marathon Runs or Walks - (Please note:  for the past 42 years, we have supported the Walt Churchill ½ Marathon Run for the promotion of distance running and better health.  And as Walt says…”It also improves a person’s appetite and makes it possible to eat more without gaining weight.”)

Solicitations:

Also, again, we’re sorry, but due to lease restrictions at our Perrysburg location, we are not able to authorize solicitations of any kind on the outside premises of our Perrysburg store.    

At our Maumee location, we do consider a limited number of solicitations; however, they must fit within our Giving Guidelines.  Any request for solicitations must be approved by our Store Manager and at least 30 days in advance.

Dixie Hwy, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.  If you have other information to add about your event, please include this with your request.
